History: Nell was once a human set out to 'cleanse' the land, when really he was just a sacrifice to the demons so their home village would be at peace. However Nell easily overpowered his first demon encounter. Yet, he was no where prideful for it, and spent many years sneaking around the forests in search of supplies and any sane folk to help him in his 'quest' since he was not allowed to return home. Nell as such a young age, before he even became the HUMBE REAPER, was tricked by a higher demon into being a slave. Nell went through a series of horrid trauma before managing to escape. Where, eventually as he tried to recollect his sanity, met a wondering MONK. This monk offered Nell freedom of his sick mind and would visit him constantly for guidance. Their bond so close that eventually Nell offered a safe place at his camp once he was clear minded. Nell asked for additional training so that as he ventures he can always be pure, and eventually Nell was no longer the student, but a master of it now. He learned to purify, but corruption was to strong that even Nell knew purification couldn't work on the most broken of creatures.
On one of Nells explorations, he came across a lake, in which a set of strange rays shined on a very long slender sword that stuck straight out of an old tree. Nell no doubt took the sword, and bringing it back to the Monk, he explained that it is a holy sword, and that it should be used only for good, or it will burn the hands of it's wieldier at any given scene of corruption. Nell used the sword ... well, but he eventually found in time the right ways to using such a strangle light but long sword. However it did not aid him as much as his next weapon to which he came across with an encounter of a beast. The best clearly full of itself, offered to teach Nell like the child he was. And, after that, Nell was given a Black rooted bow, it was much smaller then the beasts by far, and often the beast would explain he'd easily kill him from a mile away if he wanted to. Nell however ignored and endured the punishment of having to learn a thing or two from such a asshole as this one. But, Nell found that on his own he could easily wield the rooted bow, and found more confidence in his way of silent practice rather then being snorted on and mocked at. Eventually Nell found no use for the beast, and when it came tromping on by asking if the "bitch wanted another lesson", Nell just grinned. Now some years had passed since they seen each other and he was still surprised he remembered him, but Nell chuckled explaining that he was useless to him, and could easily wipe him through the dirt.
Now when I say years have passed, Nell has already ventured far from the forest, into deserts and bogs, through mountains and plains, even slain an army of demons on his own to protect a helpless woman, who of course kissed him and ran off without another word. And, she was a princess, none you'd like though ;}.
So when the beast laughed and continued to further mock Nell, he challenged him. Nell without words just turned and was already firing an arrow straight into the shoulder of the beast. The surprise look on its face just gave Nell all the more reasons to smile, and of course Nell wiped him through the dirt, literally. Eventually Nell grew bored of hearing him cry and plea. Waving him off, "Don't bore me next time ... I might not let you leave ..." Nell chuckled shrugging, watching his 'former' trainer gallop away.
Ever since then, Nell has always been cocky in his battles, especially with lower pests that always tried to take him on, but he knew when to be careful and take matters seriously. Nell did great things for this world, but eventually he came to realize after all his history and journey he was still no were close to his quest of stopping the corruption. Nell may have slaughtered a thousand demons, and more monsters then any beast, and warrior in this land, but he grew ill and bored of it all. It came a time were Nell decided that ... he no longer enjoyed fighting those who tempted him, found no interest in talking with his Monk, nor speaking with his lovers, and companions, he did not enjoy visiting the Oni giants who ask him to smoke with them time and time again, and the queens and peasants that speak to him, all to which he found so ... loving ... falling before him; now a haze of dull greys and distant whispers. No matter what Nell did, it became apparent even to himself that ... he just did not fear anything, and when he went to the lake to look at himself, he found no face, his once short black hair grew twice as long, but light as a feather. His fingers darkened at the ends to where his nails grew sharp. He gently caressed his pale dying skin as it twinkled like star dust, unsure if he was even mortal anymore. Holy symbols upon his body that looked as though he was a spawn of some darker demon dwelling inside, and for once Nell was reminded of fear, what was he becoming, would he be to much for even himself!? Nell questioned how his Monk had not mentions such changed, or was he ... was he always like this and his monk knew all along of the creature inside him? Is this is purity? His, god worthy body gifted to him for overpowering the darker forces that kept this lands people hidden. Or ... was this his inner darkness just finally breaking through the illusion of man all along.
Nell confused and lost to himself, abandoned his Monk, abandoned all who he loved, his kin, his people, he was a prince now, a prince of nothing, a symbol of the lost desires.
Nell forever reaps the lands of corruption as a mere instrument of his mind, a timeless ghost.

You should have seen his former masters face, when Nell slaughtered his way through his men, only to be faced with a creature he couldn't even control from the beginning.
